Abstract The aim of this article is to outline the correct demonstration fetal corpus callosum with 3D ultrasound between 18 and 40 weeks gestation. An abdominal or transvaginal transducer can be used for acquisition brain depending on position fetus. best achieved, when volume acquired from a sagittal parasagittal sectional plane brain. Once stored in memory, multiplanar mode allows manipulation all three dimensions until exact median seen, showing as hypo- anechoic curved structure. Volume an axial head – typically biometrical measurements diameters not recommended clinical evaluation because reconstructed does reveal margins structure precisely. Other display modes such contrast imaging (VCI), OmniView-VCI, tomographic may also callosum. However, these only provide operator good image quality if was plane.
